[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison Park, March
22nd 1910]
Present The full Board.
Minutes The minutes of last meeting were read
& confirmed.
Adamson The Secretary reported that Bolton had not
as yet sent the Bill for £400.
Jennings &c. The Secretary reported that the club
would not allow these players to come
down for a months trial.
Wage limit The deputation reported that the clauses
submitted by the Management Committee
had been accepted by the clubs of the League
& Southern League & would be submitted to
a meeting of the F.A.
Makin The Secretary reported that Carlisle would
not give this player a free transfer.
Alterations The Secretary reported that Mr. Leitch was
unable to attend and read letter from
him, enclosing letters from Morton's Ltd.
& from their Solicitors demanding payment.
He was instructed to express disappointment
at Mr. Leitch's inability to attend and to
say that no further payments could be
made until Mr. Leitch's a/c & Bullens
a/cs had been explained by him to the
satisfaction of the Board. He was also
