Benevolent The Secretary reported that Messrs Lamont & Grant
Fund of the County F.A., Messrs Williams & Watson of the
Liverpool F.C. and the Chairman & himself
met in conference hereon, and it was resolved
that the recommendation be made to the respective
clubs and association viz., That Liverpool and
ourselves contribute £25. each out of the gate
receipts in the replayed Liverpool Senior Cup
final tie (provided the gate exceeds £50) and the
County F.A. £10, to form the nucleus of a Benevolent
Fund, and that the County F.A. provided their
net balance is not below £200, shall at all times
maintain such fund at the minimum amount of
£60. The recommendation was adopted.
The Secretary also reported that the prices of
admission for the replayed tie was discussed
and it was arranged that they be 4d, 8d & 1/-
& their action was confirmed.
Damage to The Secretary reported that Mr. Williams the owner of
Property the property in Gwladys St. damaged in the recent
gale, attended with his agent Mr. Edwards and desired
10.30 an interview re compensation for such damage.
Thursday Mr. Kelly & the Secretary were appointed to meet them
with full powers to settle any claim for compensation.
Financial The Committee appointed to interview the Bank
Position Manager reported their interview and that the
Bank had agreed to honor our cheques up to
£12000, that such overdraft would not be called
in without timely notice being given and that
instructions had been given to the Bank to realise
our stock investments. The Secretary was instructed
