Volunteers Needed to Record and Preserve People's Memories of Everton F.C.

Young, Latchford, Ferguson - all Everton heroes from the past.  The Everton Collection Project is undertaking an oral history project during 2010 to record the treasured memories of supporters, former players and employees of Everton F.C.  The recordings will be archived and some will be made available on the Everton Collection website.

We're currently looking for volunteers to carry out interviews and write up interview data.  Training will be provided.  The Project will take place in Liverpool Record Office on weekdays.  Travel to other locations on Merseyside may be necessary. 

Opportunities:

  -  Training in oral history recording and transcribing recordings
  -  Potential for participation in the continued development of the Collection
  -  Invitations to Everton Collection events

Requirements: 

 
-  Enjoyment of meeting and listening to people
  -  Good communication skills
  -  Knowledge of football
