15 February
- Jack Sharp was born in Hereford. Sharp made 300 League appearances for Everton between 1899 and 1910. See Jack Sharp memorabilia here.

16 February
1931 - Bobby Collins was born in Glasgow. Collins made his debut for Everton in 1958 and spent four seasons at Goodison before moving to Leeds United. See Bobby Collins memorabilia here.


1985 - Everton knock Telford United out of the FA Cup, although the Goodison crowd of 47,402 ensured the visitors received a £50,000 share of the gate receipts. Read the 1985 Telford programme here.
