		Ratified agreement with Notts Rangers for one match

		Also present Messrs Jackson, Jones, Richards,
		Gunning, Ramsay, Fleming, Wills, Webster,
		Nisbet, Marriott.
		Letter read from Mr R. Wilson tendering his
		resignation from committee.
		Mr Jackson prop. Mr Richards seconded that Mr Wilson
		be asked to withdraw his resignation - carried.
		Mr Nisbet moved Mr Webster seconded that Mr Wilson be
		asked to withdraw his letter.
		Mr Nisbet took this as an endorsement by the
		          com. of the sentiments expressed in Mr
		          Wilson's letter so tendered his resignation.
		Mr Ramsay proposed Mr Marriott seconded that this
		committee have every confidence in Mr Nisbet as
		secretary and that his resignation be not
		accepted. Carried unanimously.
		Secretary reported that Notts Rangers beat Everton
		at Everton by 3 goals to 1. Team Smalley, Dobson,
		Fair, Walsh, Gibson, W H Jones, Eyton Jones,
		Farmer, Gibson, Evans, Douglas. Referee Mr. McQuilliam
		of Bolton.
		New member W. A. Small 19 Northcote St prop Mr. Marriott
EVENTS
202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
