		  Meeting held Monday. December 30th 1889

		Present:- Messrs Houlding (in the chair) Molyneux,
		Wilson, Ramsey, Maxwell, Currier, Clayton, Jackson
		Coates, Berry, Henderson & Williams.

		The Minutes of the last meeting were read & confirmed.

		Some of the players being desirous of going to Scotland
		by the midnight train to-night, it was decided
		that all the Team should go tomorrow at 3, but
		such as wished might stay till Friday.

		Christmas Presents to each 1st Team player a 
		guinea to each 2nd Team player half a guinea,
		to the Trainer half a guinea & to Mr. Veale a guinea.

		Teams 1st against Celtic. Sugg, Hannah, Doyle,
		Carrier, Robt. Jones, Parry, Latta, Brady, Kirkwood,
		Chadwick & Milward.

		    2nd against Battlefield. Jolliffe, Nidd, Hammond,
		Weir, Holt (or Marshall), Farmer, Edwards, Waugh,
		Heslop, Richd. Jones & Abbott.

		Accounts to the amount of £52.17.9 were passed.

		The Secretary reported the results of the League
		    meeting at Manchester on Friday Evening.

		The Secretary read a letter resigning his position
		       much discussion followed in which full
		       confidence in the Sec was expressed, and
		       eventually the matter was left over.

EVENTS
202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
