Press It was agreed that the members of the Press be admitted. Accounts & } On the motion of the Chairman it was Balance Sheet } decided that the Accounts & Balance Sheet be taken as read. Auditors Report The Secretary read the Auditors Report. Directors Report The Chairman in making his report stated that the gate receipts were down £6000 and also that Wages & transfer fees were down £12.000. Notwith standing that the present stands and hoardings were written down to £3151, the excess of Assets over Liabilities was over £47.000. He thought the Shareholders ought to be very grateful at the financial position of the Club. From a playing point of view we had improved on the previous season and hoped to further improve our position in the forthcoming season. He deplored the loss of one of our old players W. D. Williams who had died yesterday. The erection of the New Stand was proceeding satisfactorily & it was hoped to have it completed by the end of August. Mr. W. F.
