		by Mr. R. E. Searle.

		Mr. N. W. Coffey proposed by Mr. E. Petty, seconded
		by Mr. D. Richardson.

		Mr. F. W. Lake proposed by Mr. J. W. Hamphill, seconded
		by Mr. F. W. Micklesfield.

		Mr. R. F. Murphy. Proposed by Mr. J. N. Lindop,
		seconded by Mr. R. E. Searle.

		Mr. T. C. Nuttall. Proposed by Mr. C. E. Balmforth,
		seconded by Mr. J. Taylor.

		Mr. R. E. Searle. Proposed by Mr. K. M. Duggan,
		seconded by Mr. J. H. Wilkins.

			A poll was then demanded by the
		following five members:- Messrs Balmforth,
		Winfield, Petty, J. Taylor & D. Richardson.
			Mr. R. F. Murphy, one of the candidates
		then rose and referred to a notice which had
		been served on the Company's Secretary and
		solicitor shortly before the meeting, stating that
		in the event of a poll being taken at that
		meeting, objection would be made against votes
		given under certain proxies alleged to be invalid.
		The Chairman on the advice of the Solicitor, Mr.
		Bryson, ruled that the objection should be taken
		after the Poll had been completed.
			The Chairman then read a letter of
		apology from Mr. J. Carsen for his unavailable
		absence. After questions by Messrs D. G. Stephenson
		and J. W. Hemphill had been answered and comments
		made by Messrs R. E. Searle, W. C. Gibbins, J. W. Hemphill,
		E. Green, H. R. Foxall & F. J. Smith the following were
