that the contract price would be the sum
of these two amounts instead of the first
amount he was instructed to have a
clause inserted in the Contract with
Henshaw & Sons. Subsequently the Secretary
submitted draft clause for insertion and
same was approved.
Clerk of The Secretary reported that arrangements
Works had been made for the payment to the
Clerk of Works of a Salary of One pound per
week for two weeks commencing from the
20th May. Two pounds per week for the
following two weeks and afterwards
Three pounds per week.
Donaldson The Secretary reported he had
transferred Donaldson to Preston N.E.F.C
for £50.
Ramsay The Secretary reported having offered £35
for this players transfer but found that he
had previously been transferred.
L. G. Woods The Secretary reported that L. G. Woods
having obtained the right to a free transfer from St.
Helens Town F.C. by order of the Lancashire
Combination he had applied to us & that
he had signed him on at 15/- per week in
Summer 25/- in winter & the same was
