		consent to second the proposal with a
		view to its discussion but with a free
		hand entirely & that the Secretary write
		to Aston Villa to that effect.

		Mr. Kirkwood reported the visit of himself
		& the Secy. to Scotland that
		Mr. Christies recommended would not
		suit us.

		That Dorward CF Montrose was very
