Minutes The minutes of last meeting & of Finance
Meeting were read & confirmed.
Webster The Secretary reported that Webster called
yesterday & stated that on Saturday last
he was kicked in the testicles whilst
playing at Preston & that as he would
not be fit to play for some considerable
time he the Secretary had consented to his
returning to Shepshed. Mr. Wilson the
director in charge stated that he did
not observe the incident and that no
complaint had been made by Webster
after the match; Webster also informed
the Secretary that he had made no
mention of it to anyone.
Dr. Wright having reported a visit from
Webster, examining the inflamed and
swollen right testicle, and stating that
in his opinion such inflamed testicle
had been caused - not by a kick - but from
an infective inflammation of urethra.
