Committee Meeting held Monday March 9th 1891

Present		J. Houlding Esq. (in the chair) Messrs Barclay, Currier, Jackson,
		Ramsay, Fleming, Wilson, Coates, Clayton, Howarth, Dr. Baxter
		and the Secretary.

Minutes		of last Meeting read & confirmed.

Accounts	Resolved that the cost of fixing Bath etc in Cellar be paid
		by the Club.

Saturday Hospital Resolved that we play a match for the benefit of the
		Saturday Hospital Fund on the 2nd May provided the Assn.
		give permission. If not the match to take place on April 22nd.
		The management of same to be left with the Everton Committee nett
		proceeds to be handed over to the fund.

Tranmere Rovers	Resolved that the Everton team play a match at Tranmere for a
		guarantee of £5 some week evening in April.

Application for	Resolved that the applications of Southport Central and  
Benefit matches	Everton Athletic F Club's for benefit matches be not entertained.

Player to be	Resolved that McMillan be engaged for next season at 35/- per
re-engaged	week during close season and 50/- during playing Season. Also
		R. Jones at £2 per week during the whole Season.

Maxwells	Resolve that Mr Barclay the Secretary take action
engagement	through Mr. Berry Solicitor to have agreement with this 
		player carried out.

Fixtures	Resolved that the match with Ardwick on Monday next
		and with West B. Albion on Easter Monday be confirmed.
EVENTS
202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
