Local footie fans enjoyed a variety of free events at the Everton Collection during October half-term.

Talks and tours

All week visitors enjoyed tours of the Everton Collection exhibition with the Collection's Learning Officer, Belinda Monkhouse. During the tours young football fans had a chance to dress up in old-fashioned football kits and handle boots and balls from the Dixie Dean era.

Everton and Liverpool fans alike discovered the fascinating story of John Houlding during a talk by football historian Peter Lupson. Peter will continue his series of talks about the history of football in Liverpool on Wednesday 11th November. Click here to find out more.

Half Term 3

Everton legends

The week finished with a question and answer session with much loved Evertonian Duncan McKenzie, who re-lived his Everton days to the delight of a packed audience. On Thursday 26th November the Everton Collection's events programme will continue, when Derek Temple will be visiting the exhibition at Liverpool Central Library.

Don't miss out!
